Consistency on X breaks down in the gap between “I should post” and “I do not have time to write.” A daily posting workflow with approval automates drafting and scheduling while keeping a human gate before anything goes public.
Here is how that workflow behaves in practice—and what to configure so it fits your week.
The daily rhythm (high level)
- Two posting slots — You choose up to two times per day on the weekdays you care about (slot 1 and slot 2).
- Draft batch ~24 hours ahead — The system generates a set of options (in AI-X-SUITE: four distinct angles with optional visuals).
- Approval email — You receive a link to review everything in one place—not a wall of DMs.
- Reminder — If you have not approved, a nudge arrives before the deadline.
- Deadline — If the window closes without approval, that batch is missed (nothing partial publishes by accident).
- Publish — Approved choices go live at the assigned slot times.
You can approve slot 1 only, slot 2 only, or both—possibly from different draft options.
The four draft options (why more than one tweet)
One draft per day forces you to accept mediocre output or start over manually. Four options let you match intent to day:
- Industry news — Timely update, often text-forward
- Core subject — Your expertise with optional generated image
- News and events — Credible external source with snapshot context
- Research — Recent paper or study with source framing
You are not picking “AI slop” because it is the only card dealt. You pick the angle that fits—or edit and approve.
Approval UI: what you should expect
A good approval experience shows:
- Full post text per option
- Which slot each selection maps to
- Image on/off where relevant
- Editable text before submit
- Clear test mode that never posts to X
After submit, the system—not you—handles clock-time publishing. That separation is the point: decide once, ship on schedule.
Reply workflow (same guardrail)
Comments on recent posts can be handled on a parallel track:
- New replies detected on a schedule (for example about every four hours)
- Two draft reply options in your voice
- Email or review flow to approve one
- Immediate publish after approval (replies usually should not wait for a distant slot)
Daily posts wait for slot time; approved replies go out when you say yes—both require you.
Configuration checklist
Before turning automation on, complete:
- Notification email
- OpenAI API key and models (BYOK guide)
- X account connected
- Country/timezone and posting schedule
- Industry, subject, writing style, image style
Use Test now once end-to-end. Then enable the master automation switch.
Missed a deadline?
Life happens. Look for recovery tools in Settings (for example reopening today’s batch to approve late slots where product rules allow). If recovery is not available for that day, the next scheduled batch is your clean forward path—better than silent auto-posting from stale drafts.
Who this workflow is for
This pattern fits you if:
- You want two posts per day max without living in the compose box
- You refuse unsupervised AI on your named account
- You will spend five minutes reviewing, not zero minutes
It is a poor fit if you need fully autonomous volume with no review—use a different category of tool and accept the reputational tradeoff.
